Quick Labneh Recipe

  1. Purchase 2 large plain yogurt containers (750g)

  2. take a large strainer, line it with a cheese cloth or paper towel.

  3. mix 2 large plain yogurt and add salt. Keep mixing salt in until you find it salty enough.

  4. add mixture into strainer and add paper towel or cheese cloth on top to cover. Then you want to cover the strainer with a blanket over night on the counter. It helps with draining the liquid out of the yogurt.

  5. In the morning, uncover the strainer and add thick layers of labneh in a tight seal container and make sure to add olive oil to each of these layers. Then store it in the fridge! All done and ready to spread!
